Both the gold hearts and the pewter hearts can be engraved, and this is the ideal way to add your unique message to your hourglass. When “two hearts become one” during events such as Weddings or Vow Renewals, many people will have the Bride’s name engraved on one heart and the Groom’s name on the other. Adding Wedding dates, birthdates, and other dates of significance are also very popular options. Engrave the heart closures to create the perfect Anniversary, Birthday, Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day Keepsake. You may select from our 3 lettering fonts, and there is room for 2 lines with 15 characters per line including spaces. ( We recommend only using first names and/ or dates for best appearance due to limited surface to engrave on. If you exceed the 15 characters per line, your engraving may appear small and be hard to read. If your names are long, it will appear best to engrave only names, no date, or engrave 2 seperate hearts, 1 with just names and 1 with the date ) Please note that Century font is Classy and easy to read, Rockwell is a bold font and easy to read. Script is our most popular font and is very elegant, but can be hard to read if your names are long, especially on the engraved hearts.
