This premium hardwood displays a rare, almost three dimensional grain pattern that is only found in 1 out of every 500 trees. The grain glows beautifully in the light, and is wonderfully accented with pillars crafted from unpeeled yellow birch branches. The Chalet is finished with a solid pewter maple leaf closure on each side, making it simple to open and close your hourglass so you can fill it with sands or soils from a special location or event. The Chalet makes a beautiful addition to your mantel or the rustic décor in your home or lodge. You may select from many other closures to customize your hourglass, and we offer multiple personalization options as well. A collection kit for gathering your sands or soils is included, and it comes with an individually numbered book for recording the details of your Heirloom Hourglass.
