Heirloom Hourglass - The Solstice
Bring
your once in a lifetime moments home in The Solstice from Heirloom Hourglass. The glowing grains of the finely finished premium
hardwoods combined with the shimmering 24 carat sun gold ship wheel closures will inspire images of your sun kissed days at
the beach, special summertime events, and relaxing vacations every time you see your sands flowing through this hourglass.
The Solstice is made using a rare wood for the bases known as curly maple. This beautiful hardwood displays a unique and lustrous
grain pattern that glows wonderfully in the light, and the sweeping depth of the grain pattern in curly maple is a work of
art only nature could create. The elegant rope shaped pillars are made from solid oak, and sealed with a rich, glossy finish
to enhance their warmth. Fill your hourglass from either side with your own real beach sands, colored sands, or soils from
a place and time that hold a special meaning to you. You can customize The Solstice with a wide range of closures and personalization
options, and this hourglass also looks wonderful with gold hearts, gold anchors, or pewter starfish. A collection kit for
gathering your sands is included. This unique sand ceremony hourglass is the perfect addition to a wedding unity sand ceremony,
family unity ceremony, or vow renewal ceremony. It is the perfect alternative to the unity candle for an outdoor
wedding sand ceremony, destination beach wedding sand ceremony, or an inside wedding where a candle cannot be lit. It
also makes the perfect heartfelt gift for any occasion.
