The Renaissance is handcrafted for you from solid marble bases and American black walnut rope shaped pillars. Quarried in Sapin, the marble used is called Crema Marfil, and it displays beautiful shades of cream and beige with subtle white and gray veining. This premium natural material pairs wonderfully with the black walnut, which is finished to a warm, luminescent glow. Open and close The Renaissance with the solid pewter ship wheels found on each side of the hourglass. The ship wheel design simultaneously pays homage to the rich nautical history of the hourglass as a timepiece while making the filling of it for use as a time capsule and keepsake possible.
