Heirloom Hourglass - The El Dorado
Named for the mythical lost city of gold, The El Dorado
from Heirloom Hourglass combines rich materials to create a striking hourglass of brilliant beauty. We handcraft this hourglass
for you using Tropical Brown Granite bases and cast fine pewter in the form of our signature rope shaped pillars that are
then plated with 24 carat gold. The golden rope shaped pillars enhance
the granite, and bring out its rich tones of brown and tan which are accented
by a deep crystalline structure and black obsidian. The El Dorado is a captivating piece that
reflects the light from the finely honed surface of the granite and the shimmering curves of the golden rope pillars. Two
24 carat gold plated solid pewter ship wheel closures complete The El Dorado. Perfect for the collector, Weddings and Anniversaries,
and all gift giving occasions, this hourglass is sure to become a conversation piece that captivates all who enter your home.
Fill The El Dorado with sands from your travels to create a one of a kind keepsake, and personalize it with an optional engraved
gold plate. Your hourglass comes with a collection kit containing all you need to gather your sands and fill your hourglass,
and the individually numbered gift book that comes with it includes our certificate of authenticity. This unique sand
ceremony hourglass is the perfect addition to a wedding unity sand ceremony, family unity ceremony, or vow renewal
ceremony. It is the perfect alternative to the unity candle for an outdoor wedding sand ceremony, destination beach wedding
sand ceremony, or an inside wedding where a candle cannot be lit. It also makes the perfect heartfelt gift for
any occasion.
