Our heart pine is over 100 years old and is reclaimed from the timbers of historical buildings. This longleaf heart pine is truly aged to perfection, displaying the broad sweeping wood grain, lustrous patina, and hues of honey, magenta, and brown-red that make antique pine so desirable for fine heirlooms and flooring. “The Antique” is completed with a solid pewter pine tree closure on each side as a tribute to the towering long leaf pines of the southeastern US forests this fine wood originated from. Fill your Heirloom Hourglass with sands from any lake or oceanside location, or fill it with colored sands on your Wedding Day. “The Antique”, like all Heirloom Hourglasses in this collection is 9 5/8 inches in height and 5 ½ inches around, making it the perfect size to display in your home or office. We offer many options for engraved personalization, and you can customize your hourglass by purchasing different closures for each side. A sand collection kit is included for help with gathering your sands, and it also contains a gift book and certificate of authenticity.
